David Abingdon was the founder of Insurety PLC, a direct sales insurance company that he build from scratch to £4.5 ($7) million in just 12 months. Later, as founder of the Quantum Organisation and Alchemy Network, he grew each company into international successes and achieved revenues well in-excess of a million pounds sterling in their first year with Quantum having an audited valuation of £11million after just 10 months of operation .
As a business development consultant, he has assisted many companies on their path to growth and directly made one client over £35 ($59) million in just two and half years from zero, for which he received in excess of £1.27 ($2.1) million in fees.

Over the last 23 years David has trained in excess of over 3000 people from all walks of life and from around the world in business growth & development, marketing, sales, consulting, franchising and entrepreneurship. David created several new and innovative products in Australia for both the life and superannuation markets. He sold these to a large multinational insurer. One such superannuation product achieved huge success in Australia.

- Partnered with a finance broking company quadrupling income over 6 months and developed a new and unique distribution channel.
- Took on the role of consultant to an offshore insurer to develop a range of unique products and establish new distribution.
- Designed and implemented a ground-breaking membership product for a clinical group and built an innovative distribution and administration fintech solution.

As a proven and time-tested business start-up expert, David has built and developed new direct sales and franchise divisions for his own companies and for his clients which included the selection, recruitment, training and support of self-employed, commission-only teams and managers, that numbered in their thousands. Out of the box thinking is similar and one leads to the other. It is all about approaching problems and challenges in a 'different' way.

It is a mindset that is sometimes described as 'lateral thinking'. That is, learning to look at issues sideways, from another angle, or even from the viewpoint of someone else. But moreover, it is then taking action to do what others don't do, won't do, can't do or more likely, don't think about doing.
